What is the active medication level chart?

It is an estimate of how much active GLP-1 medication is still in your body on any given day, based on a simple exponential-decay model from each shot's date and dose plus the medication's half-life (5 days for Tirzepatide by default, configurable). It is not a regulated pharmacokinetic model — it's an educational visualization to help you see your weekly cycle and the tail of each shot. Useful for spotting when a missed shot drops your level meaningfully or when titration is bumping it up.

Is My GLP Shot affiliated with Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, or any pharmacy?

No. My GLP Shot is independently built by Willhite Strategy Group. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated for any pharmaceutical manufacturer (Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, etc.), pharmacy chain, telehealth service, or insurance company. The encryption key for the share link lives in the URL fragment so it never reaches the server.

Does My GLP Shot have an API?

There is no public API for third-party integration today. You can export all of your data as JSON at any time from the in-app Settings screen, which gives you everything (shots, weights, settings, side effects, mood, appetite, supplies, measurements, labs, expenses) in a clean machine-readable format suitable for moving to another tracker, importing into a spreadsheet, or feeding into your own scripts.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap 'Delete account and all cloud data'. This wipes the encrypted blob from our server immediately and irreversibly. Your local copy on each device is preserved by default in case you change your mind, and there is a separate 'Erase all data on this device' button that clears the browser-side IndexedDB. We do not retain backups of deleted account data — when it is gone, it is gone.

What information does My GLP Shot NOT collect?

We never see your shot data, doses, weights, mood, appetite, body measurements, lab values, photos, or notes — even with cloud sync enabled, those are end-to-end encrypted in your browser before upload, and our server only stores opaque ciphertext. We do not collect: device fingerprints, contacts, location, advertising IDs, health-app integrations (we do not connect to Apple Health or Google Fit), social-graph data, browsing history, or any third-party analytics inside the app. The marketing site at myglpshot.com uses self-hosted privacy-friendly Umami analytics for click counts (no IP, no cookies, no cross-site tracking); the app itself loads no third-party scripts.

What third-party services does the app connect to?

The app connects only to its own first-party API (api.myglpshot.com / app.myglpshot.com/api) for optional account login and encrypted sync, and to Stripe Checkout / Stripe Customer Portal for premium billing — Stripe-hosted pages, not embedded scripts. There are no third-party analytics, ad networks, error-tracking SDKs, push-notification vendors, social login providers, CDN-loaded fonts, or chat widgets running inside the app. Push notifications use the standard Web Push API directly between your browser and our server. The full network surface is auditable in the open-source code.

Has My GLP Shot been independently security audited?

There is no formal third-party penetration test on file as of 2026. The encryption code is intentionally short, idiomatic, and uses the platform's built-in Web Crypto API (PBKDF2-SHA-256 600,000 iterations + AES-256-GCM) so it is straightforward to audit by reading the source on GitHub. Is my data really private?

Yes. All shot logs, weight entries, and notes are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB on your device. If you enable optional Cloud Sync, your data is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your password (PBKDF2, 600,000 iterations) before it leaves the device. The server stores opaque ciphertext only.
